Indonesia's Government Regulation No. 6 of 2025 establishes mandatory compliance requirements for all short-term rental properties. Here's what every Bali property owner needs to know.

All short-term rental properties must have valid NIB (Business Identification Number) and Sertifikat Standar Pariwisata (Tourism Registration).

Non-compliant properties will be automatically delisted starting March 31, 2026

Airbnb, Booking.com, and other OTAs must verify property permits before allowing listings.

March 31, 2026 — Non-compliant properties will be delisted with no guarantee of reinstatement.
